WELCOME ADDRESS

It is our great honor to invite you to the 9th International Conference on Biorefinery and Biomanufacturing (ICB 2025), that will be held between 13-17th of January 2025 in Sao Paulo, Brazil

The conference is jointly organized by Beijing University of Chemical Technology (BUCT), Universidade Estadual Paulista, Brazil, and Universidade Estadual de Campinas.

Over the years, ICB has become a traditional meeting place for international researchers, investors, and decision makers to meet and exchange ideas over the latest research and development in the field, to establish new connections and reinforce existing collaborations.

We expect that the conference will attract over 300 participants with diverse interests in the development of biorefinery and biomanufacturing. We warmly encourage you to submit an abstract and participate in the ICB 2025. The call for abstract submission is open until the 30th of December 2024. We also strongly encourage the participation of students, i.e., the future generation of scientists and researchers. The scientific committee, composed of recognized experts from the global biorefinery and biomanufacturing community, is committed to select the best papers and propose a high scientific level conference programme.

We would be excited if you join us in Sao Paulo at ICB 2025 so that we can together innovate the conversion of biomass/C1 into value-added products such as biofuels, biochemicals, bioenergy/biopower, and other biomaterials, while at the same time enhancing the quality of life on Earth.

Yours sincerely,
